Kees Krijntjes

Kees KrijntjesKees is a technology leader in the field of interactive media and telecommunication. During his career he build knowledge base as an R&D engineer in technology leading companies such as Philips, Alcatel, UPC and Telenet. He contributed as an innovator and strong believer in interactive and enhanced television, with many innovations as well in the technical network technology as the multimedia side e.g. interactive portals for TV and PC.

Kees already co-created the first interactive Video on Demand demonstration in Danmark in 1994 with MPEG1 video transported in ATM-cells. Between this first interactive event and now, Kees contributed in many more large innovations such as the first digital TV platform in the Netherlands introducing the first interactive set-top-boxes and TV portals. Using many novel technological solutions to transport video and audio streams he cooperated in the first multicamera - enhanced TV event in Holland called “Big Brother”.

Apart from his technical experience and knowledge, Kees developed as a NLP trainer and coach. In this field he specialises in human interaction and perception in using text (linguistic patterns), image (visualisation) and sound (audio) and strives for the best possible technical solution to make people connect and interact.

He believes that in order to make true communication possible, we need to master in all three fields and never underestimate the impact of any disturbance or aberration. Kees creates bridges between people of different backgrounds in order to form strong teams with common objectives. He values mutual respect and integrity.
