Mayra Aixa Villar

MayraMayra Aixa Villar is a fully bilingual instructional designer and independent researcher for National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. She is currently writing a thesis to obtain an MA in Applied Linguistics. She has conducted thorough research on the following topics: (i) structural analysis and linguistic modeling of online texts, (ii) eLearning, (iii) C.A.L.L. (Computer Assisted Language Learning), (iv) T.E.L.L. (Technology Enhanced Language Learning), (v) Data-driven learning as well as (vi) Web 2.0 tools in education. 


Her research findings has enabled her to complete a successful internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, work as a freelance contributor in different project, and participate in national and international scientific meetings. At the moment, she writes storyboards/scripts in English and Spanish, selects and organizes learning content for online courses/presentations and generates rapid eLearning as well as social media strategies for effective communication, collaboration and knowledge management within organizations.
